What is a geographic issue ?
A geographic issue is an unresolved problem. In Uluru's case the geographic issue is whether people should be allowed to climb the rock or not.
Why is it a geographic issue ?
The problem is that people want the freedom to be able to climb Uluru but some major organisations in Australia, such as the Australian Tourism Export Council and the local indigenous Aboriginal tribe, Anangu, do not want anyone climbing it.
